Online store
Sell products without stitching together a checkout, a payment processor, and an admin panel yourself. Wemob does all of it in one prompt.
Running an online store usually means assembling a small pile of tools: a website builder, a cart plugin, a payment processor, an admin to manage products, somewhere to see orders. Wemob gives you all of that in one place. Ask for a store in your first prompt — or add one to an existing project later — and you get products, a checkout, and an order view, all wired up from day one.
What you get#
When you create a store, your project automatically includes:
- A list of products with names, descriptions, prices, and photos
- Product pages on your public site, one per product
- A cart that customers can add things to
- A checkout page that accepts credit cards
- A thank-you page for after a purchase
- A list of orders you can see in the dashboard
- Categories and discounts you can manage
Create a store#
There are two ways to start:
- From the beginning: on the dashboard home, pick the “E-commerce store” chip before you type your prompt, or just mention “store” in your description. Wemob will set up everything a shop needs.
- Add a store to an existing project: open the Settings menu and click Add store. Wemob will add the shop pages and admin in the next chat turn.
Adding products#
Open the Store tab at the top of the Studio and click + Add product. Fill in:
- Name — what customers will see
- Description — the sales copy
- Price — in whatever currency your store is set to
- Photos — drag-and-drop or upload from your computer
- Category — to group with similar products
- Stock level — if you track inventory
Taking payments#
The first time you add a product, Wemob will ask you to connect a payment account. Click the Connect button and sign in with your payment provider — it takes about a minute. From then on, every purchase on your store goes straight to your account. Wemob doesn't take a cut of your sales.
Seeing your orders#
In the Store tab, click the Orders sub-menu to see every order that has come in. For each order you can see:
- The customer's name and email
- What they ordered and the total
- The order status (paid, fulfilled, refunded)
- Their shipping address
You can mark orders as fulfilled, add tracking numbers, and issue refunds directly from this view.
Discounts and categories#
The Store tab also has sub-menus for Categories (to group products) and Discounts(to run promotions). Discounts can apply to the whole cart, to a specific category, or to a specific product. They can be percentage-based (“15% off”) or fixed-amount (“€5 off orders over €50”).
